Converting Variable Information Set With Publishing Manager

When opening an iW document (*.iwd) with variable print settings configured in Publishing Manager with Desktop Editor, the variable information in the Publishing Manager format is converted to Mail Merge information in the Desktop format. Conversion is performed when the file is opened. Variable information is converted as indicated in the following table.
NOTE
Databases stored in the iW document (*.iwd) are changed to external files when opened in Desktop Editor.
