User Authentication

Performs authentication management using a user name and password when sending a fax.
NOTE
Depending on the printer model you are using, this function may not be supported or the functions you can use may vary.
1.
Select the device you are using from [Printer]
To display all options:
In Mac OS X 10.7 or later, click [Show Details] at the bottom of the screen.

Select [Special Features] from the pop-up menu.
3.
Select [User Authentication] from [User Management] → click [Settings] to specify detailed settings.
[User Name]:Displays the user name set in "User Information Settings."
[Password]:Sets a password of up to 32 bytes worth of characters.
4.
Click [OK].
5.
Click [Print].
