Printing Procedures

This section describes the instructions for printing documents from application software, taking Adobe Reader as an example.
The printing procedure varies depending on the application software you use. For details on the printing procedure, see the instruction manual supplied with the application software you use.
1.
Start up Adobe Reader and display the document to be printed.
2.
Select [Page Setup] from the [File] menu.
The [Page Setup] dialog box is displayed.
NOTE
The [Page Setup] dialog box is not displayed depending on the application software. With such application software, you can specify the settings for the [Page Setup] dialog box in the [Print] dialog box.
3.
Confirm that [Page Attributes] is selected for [Settings], then select the printer from [Format for].
4.
Specify the paper size, orientation, and print scale.
5.
Click [OK] in the [Page Setup] dialog box.
6.
Select [Print] from the [File] menu.
The [Print] dialog box is displayed.
NOTE
The layout of the [Print] dialog box varies slightly depending on the application software you use.
7.
Select the printer name from [Printer].
8.
Specify the settings such as the range of pages to be printed and number of copies, then click [Print].
Printing starts.
NOTE
If the printer you use is not displayed, select [Add Printer] from [Printer], and then add the printer.
