When setting prior to printing

When adding the printer in [System Preferences], the device name you are using is not displayed.
Check the following:
Is the device connected to the computer correctly?
Is the device turned on?
Is the device online?
Is the driver is installed correctly?
If you think that the driver was not installed correctly, reinstall it.

When printing

The device name you are using is not displayed under [Printer] in the [Print] dialog box
There is a possibility that when adding the printer in [System Preferences], you select the wrong driver name.
Delete the printer you added in [System Preferences], and add the printer again, selecting a driver that corresponds to the device you are using. Also, after adding the printer, set the printer options.
Some functions are not available
Check the following:
Are the printer options correctly set?
If you are using the driver for the first time or want to change the options of the device, set the options so that you can use the functions of the device.
Data is not sent to the device
Check the following:
Is the device connected to the computer correctly?
Is the device turned on?
Is the device online?
Sending data to the device takes a long time
If the size of data containing color photographs is large, sending the data may take some time. Wait while the device is receiving the data.
Check the following:
Is the resolution set high?
Reduce the resolution in the [Print] dialog box > [Basic] preferences pane > [Quality].
Does the device have sufficient memory?
If you are using a printer model the enables memory expansion, increase the amount of memory.
The edge of sent data is missing
Check the following:
Do the document size set in the application and the paper size set in the [Print] dialog box match?
Do the margins set in the application exceed the printable range?
